CS-BF/CS-BR LANDING NIPPLE

INTRODUCTION

CS-BF Type Landing Nipple is a top no-go or selective landing  nipple that provides for the location of various wireline flow control  devices in the production string. The Model CS-BR Landing nipple  is a bottom no-go landing nipple that provides for the location of  various wireline flow control devices in the production string. The location and number of landing nipples should be carefully  considered in the completion planning stages to allow maximum  versatility in the positioning of various flow control accessories.

FEATURES

◎ Seal bore - contoured and polished to guarantee effective seal;

◎ OD and material same as that of tubing coupling; 

◎ Available in API and premium threads.

APPLICATION

◎ Land blanking plugs to shut in well or to test the production tubing; 

◎ Land velocity type safety valves, equalizing check valves, circulating  blanking plugs; 

◎ Land instrument hangers with geophysical devices like pressure and  Tempature recorders; 

◎ Prevent loss of wireline work string in some cases.
